Next players will need to open up the save file in a program like Notepad so that they can begin editing some of the information inside. The best bet is for players to copy the file and save it somewhere they won't lose it. From there, there will be another folder that says SHMCD, and within it players will find their save file. This can be done by going over to the AppData folder inside your computer and locating another folder that says SUPERHOT_Team. The first thing that players will want to do is back up their save file just in case they make any mistakes. Those who are on PC though will need to go into their game's save files and edit them. Players who are playing the game on PC have a way around this thanks to YouTube user Lan, and this guide is here to show how to get around the two and a half-hour timer.
This means that those who want to continue playing must let their system run for two and a half hours straight and can't do anything else until the timer runs out. The game then informs the player that they must wait two and a half whole hours before playing the game.
